The Parent of a Child Student visa, formerly called the Parent of a Tier 4 Child visa. It is a short-term visa that allows one parent to accompany their child to the UK. The child must be enrolled in an independent school in the UK between the ages of 4 and 11 and have a UK child student visa.
Holders of a Parent of a Child Student visa are permitted to remain in the UK for the same amount of time as their child. The Child Student visa holder’s parents are authorised to stay in the UK until the child’s visa expires or the child turns twelve, whichever comes first.

With the following exceptions: you must possess £1,560 per month for your entire intended stay in the UK, up to a maximum of 9 months; additionally, you must possess £625 per month, up to a maximum of 9 months, for any child other than the Child Student who will be dependent upon you while you are in the UK.
